Hi! I'm Rosalind Resnick, co-founder and former CEO of NetCreations, Inc., the leader in 100% Opt-In® email marketing! As one of the Internet's best-known e-business pioneers, I've explored just about every business model the Internet has to offer, from hosting America Online's original dating and relationships forum (yes, I was NetGirl!) to pioneering the concept of opt-in email marketing and creating a win-win for Internet consumers and marketers alike. Along the way, I edited and published one of the Internet's first commercial email newsletters, Interactive Publishing Alert, and co-authored The Internet Business Guide: Riding the Information Superhighway to Profit (MacMillan Computer Publishing), one of the first books about doing business on the Net! Along the way, I spearheaded NetCreations' successful IPO, contributed columns to Internet World and NetGuide magazines, testified about consumer privacy before the Federal Trade Commission, and helped spread the gospel of permission-based email marketing worldwide.
But that's only the professional me -- the person who builds companies, writes books, speaks at conferences, and trots around the globe popularizing contrarian business ideas.
